Steele Storage Systems was started 40 years ago by Ernie Steele in Johannesburg, South Africa. The business has remained a family business, providing unsurpassed standards in the area of shelving, warehouse pallet racking, storeroom racking and mobile shelving systems. Our regular customers particularly value our excellent standards of service, which is why many of our clients have stayed with us since the start.
Steele Storage Systems opened in Cape Town in 2009 from where we are able to service clients racking and shelving needs throughout the Western Cape.
Through the years we have maintained strong relationships with many of our blue chip clients including Barlow’s, Anglo American, De Beers, The University of Pretoria, The University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), The University of Cape Town (UCT), Western Cape Provincial Government and the South African Parliament. Although we have been entrusted with the installation of various shelving and racking systems to these companies for many years, our main source of business are smaller businesses on their path of growth.
We have also continued to supply shelving and racking components to our other clients throughout Africa.
